We are about to share in a service of remembrance in memory of that day just two years ago when the earth fell and all of Haiti shook to its core. We will remember the lost, those that died and those lives are forever changed. I invite you To remember as well, in prayer and in thought and in actions. Do something today for someone else, a visit, a hug or simply a card in honor of someone who is gone. Do it not because you want a thank you but because hundreds of thousands Haitians will never again hear their loved ones voices or be wrapped in a warm embrace.
My own thoughts are still and my eyes already damp with tears. Words escape me as my heart is heavy.
